We were one of the first to advertise on the Cook County Assessor's website.  We were running an idea up the flagpole, to see if our property history report would be of interest to consumers.  Number of salutes:  0.  The ad looked pretty good though, if I do say so myself.

I think it's important, any time you are spending money on marketing, especially when your service is as specialized as is an abstractor's, to reach as many in your target market as possible.  If the site you are advertising on gets heavy traffic from your prospective customers, it may work well for you.  But I can't think of a better value, a better bang for the buck, than a premium listing or ad on Source of Title, where the potential customers actually come looking for your service.
