So what is your excuse for all of those years that the Republicans held the Whitehouse and the House and Senate... and they still added Trillions of dollars to our national debt?
Again Robert, perspective. ALL of THOSE YEARS? You mean after 40 years of Democrat led progressivism and liberalism? Obama and his minions are still riding the Bush's fault train only 2 years in, we had to correct 40 years worth of failed foreign policy and entitlement programs. I can't understand how obtuse this matter is for you. There have only been two complete turnovers of congress since 1945 by the way, once in '49 and last in '07. The majority of rule since '45 has been entirely Democrats. The ship didn't start sinking until Pelosi took over, I suppose that's just another coincidence.
Also, a point I failed to inquire of you before. How in the world can you, being a lawyer, think that taxing the rich higher but keeping the lower and middle tax cuts is ok? "EQUALITY UNDER THE LAW" You would seriously advocate taxing one group of individuals higher than the other and find that Constitutionally acceptable?
As far as the Pledge, yes is poltical gimmickery no doubt about it, but do you really think Democrats will somehow learn fiscal conservativism after decades of drunken sailor spending? Yes Republicans are only the lesser of two weevils.
Leigh, I don't want to get into it with you again, you are obviously harboring some ilk from our last encounter. Try and keep the sniping to a minimum. "facio non porto culter ad pistolium pralium"
