I can tell in MN.. we have 17 NEW county recorders this year.  I have gotten 1 county to take their oaths of office - or they were going to be all impeached by me from their duties and prosecuted. 

In Florida - I can tell you the shear amount of fake deeds is off the charts. 

and if you don't know your standing with your license to abstract.. you should give them up.  You are the one tasked for being the watch dog for the state.   Good lord.  people learn what a business license is.  You are the government for the executive branch, that is why YOU go thru a back ground check and in some states you are fingerprinted to get a license.  It is your duty to report with that license and if you are a notary public it is a much higher duty to report.   That is why your license is in the DEPT of COMMERCE.
