We have the same experience, this is not new.  When times get tight, fewer transactions for lenders, realtors and title, everyone wants to close and make their fees, and of course the Buyer and Seller are motivated to complete the transaction.  We never say no, we let the parties know we will do all we can to be on time, and we keep them current with status reports such as we just received the Pre-CD to balance, we are balanced, we just received the closing package just so they don't have only the lender's word on how things are progressing.  Further we let the parties know whether we have received wires in advance and that we must submit docs for review before disbursement, urging them to be on time.  Communication and education of the process is important.  More important is keeping your eye on the goal which is a successful closing.  Add to that, we do not say NO, CAN'T or WON'T, we just keep moving forward.
