LOL!  Robot duress.  Androids must march for their civil rights!

Actually, the issue is that the independent contractors are being threatened to sign these papers or lose their jobs.  They are expected to print the papers, not read the papers, sign the papers, and record the papers.  They are not married to the parent filing firm, nor are they affiliated in any way with the title company or the bank / bank's trustee, but they are expected to print and sign documents.  This has been explicitly said to them.   Really, I'm not fabricating this in any way.  This is where it is illegal.  Your signature is your legal property, not the property of your employer or contracting firm.  To be forced under threat of loss of livlihood to sign is certainly not legal.  It is a taking of your property without just compensation.  I've never signed documents unless that is part and parcel to something I am being paid for.  Notaries (in our State) can get $10 per signature.  Celebrities can charge whatever they want for their autographs.  I would certainly not sign a legal paper under duress without putting "under duress" on it, but would cause the document to be called into question.
