Like Garret said, there's not a lot you can do about it.  Outsourcing is not our decision (unless you're an underwriter or a huge title conglomerate that has eaten everyone else and then ships out the work to India).  You can rend your garments and beat your chest but the fact is, this is a fact of a global economy.  I have always believed that within the next 10 years, 90% of our work will just go away and never return.  As more and more counties become internet based, large companies will take advantage of cheap labor. 

As one underwriter told a co-worker "We pay out more in claims now, but we actually make more profit because of all the fees we save NOT paying $50 for a 1 owner search."  Is it ethical?  No.  Is it legal?  Yes.  What are you going to do to change that?
