The search for knowledge is never a losing game. Law school is one of the most mind expanding experiences one could seek. I often think of the practice of law as a chess or poker game...insofar as litigation/arbitration and opposing counsel are concerned...I am always holding four aces.
While the job market at law firms may have imploded...private practice remains a booming field. It is simply a matter of tailoring the practice to the economy. Right now collection work is going through the roof.
