The Air Force pays their people well, but there are other armed services that do not. My niece is in the Air Force and was loaned to the Army and was sent to Iraq. She is the one who told me that  a few members of her team, their families had to apply for food stamps.

My niece has been in Iraq for over a year and has done 10 tours in Afghanistan, I can't believe that she would pass information to me that wasn't true.  She has been in the Air Force since she was 18 and  is 32 now and resigned before she was deployed.

We don't know half of what goes on in our government! They passed laws about not foreclosing on soldiers who are in a battle zone but it still going on!

I have little faith in our government, our country is insolvent and they pour billions of dollars into other countries, when we have millions of unemployed here at home, elderly in their late 70's and 80's who have to work part time jobs just to be able to eat, and the list goes on.

When is it ever going to end???????
