I agree. Though, thankfully, I am in a state that has passed legislation declaring these creations unenforceable, I do agree that it is very important to do a full search so that consumers can be properly informed.

Federal legislation may undue all of the state bans (at least one prior proposed bill would have). If that happens, I wonder what will happen to the underwriters' guidelines on short searches.
