This has been a year in the making. Fannie and Freddie pulled all their files out of his office around this time last year and they have been divided up among several smaller law firms around the state. The issue now is whether these smaller firms are going to be able to continue from where Stern left off or if all the remaining files are going to have to be closed and restarted.
