I suppose if I lived anywhere but Florida I would agree with you. All Florida records are online by state law in 2000. Before that only did counties I could go to. Times have changed. I do what I can to stay alive. I have been a title examiner for over 25 years and on my own for 11. I don't sell myself short. If these people are only going to pay $40 for a one or two owner search, why not? I must have been misunderstood - no examiner (experienced) would do a full 30 year search for that and I don't. 1-2 owner searches is all I'm getting. I don't have to drive anywhere - I don't even have to get dressed! I like it that way. Oh, I do search timeshares for that price!
