In our county (San Mateo, California) this robosigning is still going on almost daily by the title services that I've posted about in the past: SPL and Passion Title still have employees who receive emails on their portable laptops at the county from their parent firms. The parent firms have recieved the emails from their client title companies. These title companies (Stewart, North, First, Old, Fidelity and Chicago) get instructions from trustee firms who in turn get their marching orders from the lender.
These low level employees are signing and recording the documents at the counter every day.
Obama's joint taskforce on financial crimes is busting the chops of the "40 Thieves" at our foreclosure auctions for Sherman Antitrust crimes, but nobody seems to bother with ongoing robosigning for years. Interesting...
