Though I find the use of robo-signers highly offensive, I agree with you. I am not really familiar with the recording statutes in Massachusetts, but if the document complies with the requirements on its face I do not think the recorder has the authority to reject it.

If they believe that a document may have been forged, I think they should take it to the prosecutor's office and have them open a criminal investigation.
