We also get a lot of requests for quotes as well.  I always send them back the quote with the fee and copies and as long as it tracts back as one chain just in case it splits.

I get where you coming from, seems like we never get the order.  The client is either just shopping around or their client is just shopping around looking for the lowest fee and not understanding how the process works or what it takes to create a title search.
