I have no idea how you can even think to work.  I mean, you are letting all these people live in your head rent free.

Let me ask you a question, just exactly how does how I dress affect YOU???  If it doesn't and you aren't paying me, then it is none of your business or worry about how I dress.  Sometimes I'm in my leathers when it's cold and I'm on the bike, sometimes I'm in my carharts because I've been out building fences, and sometimes I'm in my shorts and flip flops, because, well, because I CAN.

Your life must be truly boring for other peoples dress code to bother you this much.
