AMEN!!!  This burns me up!  I've lost several long time customers from their greed & sending their orders overseas.  This, to me, is as bad as companies hiring illegals.  We certainly don't need any more government regulations, but, with the country in the economic mess it's in, the companies should keep the work at home simply for ethical reasons. Oh!  I forgot!  Nobody knows what ethics are anymore!  I honestly don't know how they can possibly do a search in India.  There are very few searches I do that I don't have to get information from the courthouses.  I know this is mean, but maybe if they get "hung out to dry" on some of them, they'll realize how valuable we are.

On the issue of lowering fees, I make less per search NOW than I did when I began independent work 17 years ago.  The prices of EVERYTHING have gone up except the price of my fees.  I'm having to do almost twice as much work for the same pay.  I need to RAISE my prices so I can barely survive, not LOWER them!  What's wrong with these greedy people?
