I deal with First American and other big providers all the time. 

I too have "gone paperless" long ago, as I continually mention:  I use a digital camera to take a free copy off the county film or computer screen.

 So long as it's a 1-2 page document, i shoot it to them for free wihing a couple minutes with the understanding that they learn to use a pdf reader and don't bug me about the image quality:  so long as it's clear (love image stabilization tech), then they can use the dang thing.

 I've considered embedding copyright notices into each image as background watermarks.  More for "LOL's" than any real intent to collect.  Anyone else doing this?
