Thank you for providing the "other" line of thought with regard to this hypothetical.  It will be interesting to hear some other opinions on how state recording statutes affect the outcome.

It was very nice to meet you, too.  I looked for you later and thought we might get a chance to chat a bit more, but I couldn't find you.  Next year, we'll have to meet up for lunch.
