Kevin, I ASSURE YOU I did everything I could against both the LLC and the individual, and it was NOT a weak case. Even the deadbeat admitted he owed me the money. I used to be a legal secretary in California -- I know how it all works. We had a judgment; the atty (from a sizable, established, law firm) tracked down every conceivable bank account. None of it mattered. When the dude was brought up before the court for Contempt of Court (for not showing for his deposition), the judge basically said "there's no assets. Case dismissed." It is what it is. Whether it was just or not makes no difference.
