Is it possible to get a different agent?  The difficulty you might have would be the wording in the application about knowledge of a pending claim; which you would have to answer affirmatively.  Has the client been in touch with your E&O carrier or did they just contact you?  Also, is it possibly something that might be a Registry indexing error?  Sometimes carriers are will ask for a smaller premium based on that.  Could you possibly pay the claim yourself & hang onto the E&O at the rates you've got now?  Just a few thoughts.  Hope this all works out for you.
