Agreed.  If the customer is always right, then giving them to product that they want is fine, so long as you offer a clear disclaimer and disclosure as to how and why the work is done in a very limited fashion and manner.  Don't forget to get their order in writing by email and add the correspondence to you final report as an exhibit, in order to establish the terms that they agreed to.
