That is the hardest part to understand - this client requires E&O insurance and their vetting process was pretty exhaustive when we went through it.  The searches we were doing were not super tough, but they took a good hour or so to research.

I hesitate to speculate what this competitors hourly rate works out to, and living in the Bay aint' cheap.
