Virginia also has T/E, J/T (both with CLRS) & T/I/C. I would think that for joint tenants or T/E, (which I you say wouldn't apply in Ohio), that the other party/title holder would have to somehow be informed of the sale. Just imagining the nightmare of owning a home with my spouse and upon his death, realizing that someone else owned half of it! Can that really be done? And if so, what is the law as far as whether those new owners could move on in? :-)
