First, let me humbly join the ranks of people here who like to help others. Still, I have a coupla questions about the fancy flophouse:
1,132 homeless people in Montgomery County, and they're spending $4 million bucks to house twelve of them? Wouldn't it make more sense to build a few more units in a less swanky part of town?
It sounds like a nice place, in a premo neighborhood. Is there any incentive for the lucky residents to gain employment and move to a less nice place in a neighborhood they can afford? How long before the next twelve lottery winners get to move in?
I hope I don't sound mean, but I think you can do a lot of good for a lot more people with that kind of money.
