Yes, I remember that they continued into the Nixon administration.  However, I said nothing about the validity of the Chicago 8's position - just that it killed HHH's run for the White House.  Also, I never defended Nixon/Agnew's administration.  However, the corruption that was (and still is) in DC was always "protected" by Hoover.   And the blowback from Watergate ushered in the stellar administration of Carter with the malaise (economically and emotionally), gas lines, and sky high interest rates, among other things.  From the frying pan into the fire (Nixon to Carter).  And now Napolitano is using tactics that would have even made Hoover blush (i.e., TSA). 

I just don't understand why you progressives are always so angry and feel the need to attack someone else's view point.  It reminds me of elementary school - I know you are but what am I?
