[-] NALTEA Conference in Clearwater - Patrick Scott/IL (3 replies)
9/14/2011 5:24:39 PM (4457 views)

I hope we'll see a good showing of independent abstractors who frequent this message board at the NALTEA conference next month.  I've been attending the conferences since 2006, and it's something I always look forward to.

If you are not currently a NALTEA member, attend the conference anyway.  It's a good way to get to know some of the people in the organization, and to see what we're all about.  We'll have membership applications on hand, because non-members tend to become members after meeting a few of the attendees, and seeing their commitment to the betterment of the industry.

We will have three Board of Directors positions up for election by the membership.  One of them happens to be the seat I now occupy, and I won't seek to retain it.  As rewarding as it has been, I have been on the board for a long time, and it feels like the right time to yield to new energy, and new ideas.  I hope to see some good, smart and passionate candidates throw their hats in the ring.  If you want to be heard, the NALTEA Board of Directors is a good place to be.  And, you'll have the pleasure of working with a top-notch group of people, as I have.  If you are interested in running for a position on the board, contact me at info@naltea.org.

Special room rates ($119.00/night) are available through September 20th at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort.  That's coming up pretty quickly, so make your reservation HERE today.  You can register for the conference on line HERE.

Join us for a long weekend of Education, Advocacy and Business Developement.  Not to mention the excitement of hobnobbing with some of the smartest, most successful abstractor you'll ever meet (well, that's my opinion anyway).

I hope to see you there.  Go register now.
