I don't usually read the hyper links that you simply post with little to no comments, but this one I had to read, especially since it is from the Old Grey Lady, just to see how much of a hit piece it would be.   The writer's credentials said it all even before I started to read it.  Then, in reading it through page 6 (I was too disgusted to continue), it had all the typical references to all the liberals' standard evil mongers.  It amazes me that even with all the scandals from the "green" industries and even their own admission that the technology is not yet there to completely replace fossil fuels, this concept of "renewable" energies MUST be used now is like beating a dead horse.

I grew up in the Hudson Valley in NY and lived there until 1997.  I remember in the 60s when I was a child, people in PA and the western parts of NY could "light their tap water on fire" and I remember when Lake Erie burned.  This article is just more propaganda like the movie Gasland.  Even Henry Ford experimented with "renewable energy" and it is shown in the museum in Dearborn.  There is a quote from Ford saying that windmills only worked when the wind blew and was not a consistent or reliable form of energy.

Until the technology is there to rely on "renewables", there is no more efficient and consistent energy generation than from fossil fuels.  I really do not want to live like my great grandparents did without the "creature comforts".  I don't think any of s are that tough to survive like that and I am really tired of the holier than thou progressives telling me how I should live my life, especially the lear jet liberals who basically say - it is fine for you but not for me.
