Robert, If I remember right, years ago the county ROD had "hard copies" of the deed, mtgs.,etc and had duplicate ones filed in other locations. What happens nowdays if the county's online records are "locked out, wiped out, or otherwise made unavailable"? Are those records of the peoples property LOST forever? Couldn't someone had told the RODs how bad an idea it was to store these online, and not have hard copies indexed?
