I agree wholeheartedly!  I was recently admonished by one because I said I was "reluctant" name the name of a non-paying client.  My email is posted and anyone who genuinely wanted to know the name of the client could have simply emailed me and would have received a response.  No one did, but I thought it was particularly amusing to be taken to task over it by someone who hid behind an anonymous/fictitious identity.  I subscribe to AbstractorWatchdog and post anonymously there, but even on that site you have a way to respond to another poster by private message.  I'm also particularly suspicious of those who post anonymously to tout the wonderful attributes of a particular business...kind of reminds me of a carnival barker trying to sell me snake oil...
