Diane,   You did the right thing  and learned a valuable lesson.  I personally have a $500 cap on all credit to new customers and $700 to all reliable former customers. I also charge 10% on ALL late ordersas noted in my invoice.  Don't always get it but anything with a balance is put on hold until paid.  This forum is to help our fellow abstractors not  get burned like you just did.  Hope you reconsider naming names and help us take control of our business.
