No, that is not correct (I do work for CoreLogic).  First American Document Services was made up of assets from what is now First American DataTrace plant services, and CoreLogic's nationwide data and image repository and abstract network.  CoreLogic continues to provide Document Services, as does Trace.

As Slade Smith said fairly elequently earlier, the answer depends on who is asking the question and for what purpose.  CoreLogic has a Data and Analytics division that contains real property and mortgage databases, Credco, realtor services, etc. and many of the subscribers to Source of Title may subscribe to one of its myriad software solutions.  There is also a Business Information Services division that does more full service valuations, field services, flood, default and asset management, BPO's etc.  There are quite a few legal entities out there.  There are some blending of services between the two divisions.

I'm happy to help connect anyone who may need to get more information or contacts.
