Michele, we are a company of 5 in a county of maybe 25,000 when the circus is in town.  We are one of the few abstract companies in Iowa that is still family owned.  Most have been bought out by banks or attorneys.   I tell my abstracters that the ONLY marketing advantage we have is to provide quality work.    When the errors start surfacing on the 'curbstoners' they will fade away into infamy.

That old adage "you get what you pay for" is very appropriate in this case!
