Massachusetts has in-house, on-line, statewide access to the dockets for all probate courts. The docket sheets are really just a belt & suspenders thing, but it is annoying & somewhat troubling that Esssex County does not list any Notices of Claim against estates at all. With some very large estates, it is always possible that a piece of paper has gone missing & with the belt & suspenders thing, it means that you can match the docket entries to the pieces of paper you're holding in your hands. This is just plain aggravating.
