I agree with you. The best search is an in house or county search. The title plants collect the data and catagorize it for us. I am not a fan of County online searching. That is not to say that its not helpful. But, in my opinion, if I want to feel comfortable that I have provided a quality search then why not use the services we pay for. You get what you pay for. The data collected at the county and title plants have been index to assist us in doing a thorough search for our customers. For those of us who pay for these services and E and O Insurance so we may provide a quality project for our paying customers take pride in what we do and it keeps the money flowing on our Country.
