There is no way to run the indices like that in Massachusetts. This is pretty interesting. How are descriptions sorted in the entry books in MN? Our entries are by date, then last name/first name; book & page; type of document; legal description. Some Registries provide more info, some less. Essex South has the best system for legals - the include the property address; & the plan reference. Other registries only give you one or the other which makes searching just that much more difficult - so sometimes Joe Blow's mortgages are indexed as Lot 27; or sometimes as Lot 27 on Plan Book 1, Plan 1; or sometimes as ABC Street. The registries that include the option to search by property address sound more like what you have in MN; but it's still just an option & is not necessarily accurate.
