That is horrible!

In the counties we search in NJ you can only search by name, in Bergen Couny when they started imaging documents it became a total nightmare instead of just a nightmare.

So many misindexed documents, and the worst part of it is the county employee's don't seem to care. But thats nothing new. They are union so they have their jobs forever whether they are competent or not.

I can remember so many times doing searches in Bergen, finding an assignment stamped on the mortgage, going to the assignment books so I could make a copy of it and finding that the assignment is not for our property or borrower's, then asking one of the county employee's about it and the response always was "what do you expect me to do about it?"

And these are the people who are responsible for the public records, its more than scarey!
