Slade - I'm going to disagree with you slightly.  I like the deadbeat posts.  They're informative & generally very useful.   It  helps to find out who's not paying; or in the case of one of my former clients; I appreciate the opportunity to help some other frustrated examiner out with inside info on who to contact to get paid.  I also read/post on Abstractor Watchdog & a big shout out goes to them as well.
My experience has always been that a public airing of my grievances gets a quick response from clients who are pondering whether or not they actually have to pay me for title work.   I do utilize the research tools & they are quite useful - but sometimes the information is a few years out of date.
I  hesitate to bring up title issues on this forum, as I am not entirely sure, that what works in Massachusetts is germane to the rest of the title examining community; but I do enjoy joining in on some of the posers that Robert posts.  The latest one about life estates was terrific.
This is a wonderful site & I greatly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of it. .    You & Robert really  have done a fabulous job with all of this.
