FHA fee increase the reason for the slowdown? - Slade Smith/OH
5/1/2012 11:19:55 AM (6019 views)

A FHA fee increase took effect today-- I just sold a property yesterday, and the buyer wanted the April closing to take advantage of the last opportunity for the lower fees.  This could have pulled a lot of transactions forward into April, and is likely to make May a slower month for transactions, which could already be showing up in the title search business.
