Me? Liberal?  I have been a registered Republican voter since I was old enough to vote.  I consider myself to be a fiscal conservative.  I wish Ron Paul had a realistic chance of becoming the GOP nominee this year because Romney isn't conservative enough for me.

However, I have a disdain for political radicalism masquerading as conservatism.  The right wing is just as crazy as the left (maybe more so today).  My rant was over the top sarcasm, and I apologize if the sarcasm didn't come through for you.  The point was as you mentioned - that "guy was a bit over the top," although I would say it was more than a bit.

In all honesty, I consider myself in the middle-majority you speak of, and I agree that as long as we have people posting mind-numbing propaganda like that to polarize the masses, we are not going to see any middle ground.  If both sides would simply see that the extremists are just plain nuts, maybe we could get some support for common sense legislation that is in the best interest of the people.  Not going to happen in this election cycle, unfortunately.
