If you've ever seen any 1900-1930's pictures of "the city of the future" there are always electric flying cars, buzzing around the buildings that look something like helicopters; but there are also dirigibles tethered to the tops of all the buildings.  I always wondered just how a person was supposed to exit the dirigible - rope ladder maybe?

One of my all time favorite photographers is Berenice Abbott, who, during the 1930's went to the tippity top of all the tall art deco  buildings in NYC & took breathtaking photographs of the city.  The ones from the top of the Chrysler Building are spectacular.
