Well, I hate to say it, but there are companies out there boasting about their ability to provide "the search, retrieval, and examination in less than 15 minutes," and "a completed refinance title commitment is delivered in less than one hour."

It is no wonder that people get the impression that all of this can be done with a few key-strokes. 

I think you handled the situation very well.  I can't imagine trying to pull that all off in time for such a short deadline.
