Yes.  We have had clients order a "current owner," but then specify that they want all judgments, liens, and easements that encumber the subject property.  It is impossible to provide that information with a current owner search.

Is it a matter of the client trying to sneak cheap fees, or are the clients just that ignorant about title these days?
