I share your pain.  We have been dealing with this issue for well over a year now.  One of the four counties we cover made this decsion to go to a four day work week a long time ago... then another county decided to start closing early on Fridays.  When a third county told us that they were considering the same thing, due to another budget cut, I tried to get them to consider closing on Monday's instead.  Fortunately, they were able to avoid cutting the days of operations.

It will definitely cut into our ability to make a living if all of the counties close on the same day.  But, they aren't looking at this from our point of view.
