I can understand how they might make an image unavailable if something like a social security number shows up.  But why remove the index entry too?  You would think there would still be an index entry for a mortgage, deed, assignment etc. but then an "image not available" screen when you try to view the document.  Then at least you would know if you have to make a trip to the county vault to see the missing image. Removing the index listing too, makes that database completely worthless.
