There are certain areas in my courthouse where the signal is nonexistent.  Usually as I walk from one office to the other, my phone "goes off" to notify me I have voicemail messages.  If its a clear day and I stand in that one special spot, I can get a signal.  Email and text messages come through, but I usually have to walk out of an office to a window or hold my phone in the air until the signal "hits" so i can open attachments.
