Hi David,

 I apologize for giving the impression I was interested in engaging in a political discussion with you or with anyone else.  That is simply not the case, though I can see how you'd assume I would be. 

What I should have said, and please allow me to correct my error- is not every single website or forum we involve ourselves in should devolve into politics.   No one's mind is going to be changed with information sharing that shows any particular side to any particular issue.  My original intent was to sort of paraphrase Marvin Gaye:  "Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear."  But even that statement can be assumed to be political if one is so inclined to view it that way.    Let me clearly state that isn't my intent.  

Wouldn't it be nice to have work related information sharing site without political overtones?
