Thank you for sharing this scenario with us.  This type of thing is all too common these days.  I have decided that ANY document retrieval is just not worth it for me.  I had a company last winter that wanted  "doc retrieval", but also wanted me to run the owners forward, which they didn't explain when placing the order.  So I printed out all of these documents (deeds, forclosures, etc.) and faxed them over, only to hear from them that I had the wrong owner!  When I explained that running the owner forward constituted a current owner search, they dropped me.  Just as well.  Their name is Blue Streak Docs in Fla.  Watch out for them!
