Ah yes... the military. They sure do not operate with any efficiency, or common sense. It's the organization that practically invented the Peter Principle, "employees tend to rise to their level of incompetence." But closing a mobile office in the face of a storm is just good common sense - you can't help anybody, if you jeopardize the safety of those who are providing the help.
Although I do find it amusing that FEMA would be "closed due to weather." Still, I do not doubt that they will be there to provide assistance when needed.
