Unfortunately, we all find clients who try to get lower fees by calling a "search" anything but a search.  I had one client who ordered "everything" as a "current owner" with caveats that would almost always require a Full search.  When requesting a fee upgrade, reply was "we only want a search from the current owner froward", either started over 30 years ago or never came out of family.  Good luck.
