I'd like to see how the appraisers get it done.  They seem to get paid even when a deal falls through.  Of course, they deal directly with the settlement company.  It seems when we abstractors are 3rd or 5th in a chain of subcontracted orders, it's pretty easy to decide NOT to pay us...
